We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Creative Director who can confidently hit the ground running. This influential executive position will work closely with the executive team to siphon and articulate key messaging to a variety of internal and external audiences, and develop compelling media and communications to support organizational goals, vision and strategy. This will entail building and developing a corporate brand in a heavily regulated brand new industry.
Marketing & Creative Director:
With a clearly demonstratable track record you report directly to the President of the company and marry passion with the ability to develop clear strategic messaging across all platforms; lead exceptional design; create engaging copy and develop brilliant stakeholder-centric strategies.

Key responsibilities of the job:
The Marketing & Creative Director works closely and collaboratively with Investor Relations, management, in-house designers and external creative service providers to produce marketing collateral over a broad range of media that can encompass promotions, events, media communications and PR activities.
As the Marketing & Creative Director, you are responsible for developing and executing the strategies necessary to ensure a consistent clear brand and message across all media platforms e.g. social media, print, web, investor relations etc. and across all of our subsidiaries. You will be instrumental in continuing the development and maintenance of our brand guideline document including process, related roles and responsibilities to ensure our brand and messaging is consistent.
Being in an emerging industry, you are responsible for monitoring news and gathering market intelligence about our competitors, the industry, regulations and key players to enable you to produce current and relevant content.
You manage all messaging and written/visual collateral across a multitude of platforms and take the lead in developing, creating and maintaining our media presence. You manage and provide direction to our resident digital/media designer while working with internal and external teams with creative talent.
Essential skills and areas of knowledge:
- Branding and brand development
- Writing copy – fluent in English including grammar
- Presentation skills – public speaking, creating compelling media
- Social media management and ability to manage different platforms
- Coordination and Production of media assets including digital and print
- Research: competitive analysis; regulatory; media
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders and suppliers
- Strategic planning and forecasting
- Diplomacy and tact
- Maintaining and organizing digital assets for internal use
- Liaison – event organizers, media, executive assistant, external providers, etc.
- Marketing and promotions
- Proficient with technology and using a variety of software on a PC
Job qualifications and requirements:
This position requires a minimum of five years public company or corporate experience in a similar role as well as relevant qualifications. Experience with design is an asset as is the ability to manage the production of media assets.
