World Class Extractions (WCE) / Quadron Cannatech Corporation (QCC) is growing, and we’re looking to add a full-time Business Development Analyst (outward facing) to our team of professionals in Burnaby, BC. This is an outward facing position that includes the analysis of acquisition/merger partnership or joint venture opportunities and strategic business planning.

This position involves gathering and evaluating the information required to support the contracting process in a heavily regulated industry. You’ll thrive on variety and be comfortable liaising between our legal, executive and business development teams. With an ability to write you are also conversant with business planning, developing business plans and the creation of effective pitch decks.

Business Development Analyst:
Reporting to the President of the Company, the Business Development Analyst is responsible for evaluating potential transactions, acquisitions and ventures; liaising with our legal, executive, and business development teams; and gathering and evaluating information during the due diligence process. This position would be suitable for a candidate who has worked in Corporate Law.
Key responsibilities of the job:
As the Business Development Analyst, you will conduct market analysis, analysing both product lines and the overall profitability of the business. In addition, you will develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met. You must be proficient using a computer and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.

In addition to performing financial and operational modelling, you are expected to be able to develop new models that underpin sound business decisions including the streamlining and improving of internal and external reporting. This role calls for a strong understanding of the regulatory and reporting requirements in a heavily regulated industry as well experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators.
Job qualifications and requirements:
This position requires a minimum of five years experience in a similar role as well as relevant qualifications.
A working knowledge of corporate law.
This is not a software analyst position.
